Rachel Belman is a singer/songwriter with a desire to connect with her listeners through the lyrics she composes. Her interest in music began at the age of three when she would walk around the house singing songs she had heard at church and on the radio.
While still a young child, she and her best friend, Chelsea Graves, who currently travels and performs with Rachel, began singing at weddings and special events. As teenagers, they began leading music for their youth group and whenever they were together, music was always present. They once spent hours in the pantry singing the ingredients from soup cans!
Rachel is currently an English major at Fresno Pacific University where her love for writing is continuing to develop. She writes all of her music and lyrics from experiences she has encountered in her twenty years of life.
Rachel is inspired by her love for people and a calling to impact lives in a positive way. "Love, heartache, and joy are emotions unique to our humanity and music is a gift designed to affect our entire being".

Rachel,.... I've listened to your music and you have such a marvelous gift God has given you to minister to others in such a way that would meet their varied needs in all walks of life, it seems to me. You do have a monumental platform which could be further developed to expand God's imparted work in this initial venture. I do believe you all will be multiply blessed. P.T.L. My name is Greg Ainley from the Spokane, Wa. Ainley's. Take care Fresno, Clovis, visalia and surrounding areas Extended Family. Greg.

Hi Rachel, I met you downtown Fresno when you played with Building 429. This morning my Ipod was laying next to me when I woke up, I put them earbuds in and played In Your Light. The music woke me up to another day serving our God, it healed my broken heart, and reminded me to keep hope close. God bless you and keep singing. Landon

Your songs on this CD have ministered to me during a very dark and trying time in my life, and they continue to minister to me now. Can't wait for your next song or CD, Rachel. You are a blessing to us! Thank you, God, and thank you, Rachel.
